Recommended Zone Order

Both factions begin in the Borean Tundra boat/zeppelin for faster quest density, then swap continents at level 75 to keep XP flowing.

Alliance Route

  • 70-71: Borean Tundra (Fizzcrank & Riplash)
  • 71-73: Dragonblight (Wrathgate unlocked early)
  • 73-75: Grizzly Hills (Eversong dailies unlocked)
  • 75-77: Zul'Drak + Gundrak one-and-done
  • 77-80: Storm Peaks into Icecrown

Horde Route

  • 70-71: Borean Tundra (Warsong Offensive)
  • 71-73: Howling Fjord detour for Apothecary chain
  • 73-75: Dragonblight Wrathgate skip quest
  • 75-77: Zul'Drak + Drak'Tharon dungeon spam
  • 77-80: Icecrown gunship into Argent Vanguard hubs
Cold Weather Flying should be purchased immediately at 77 (borrow gold if needed). Flying cuts nearly 90 minutes from Storm Peaks + Icecrown loops.
